E.
Gaines Thomas, D.M.D.
Dr.
Thomas, a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry, received his
D.M.D. degree from the University of Alabama School of
Dentistry. He completed his residency and received his
Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the Children's
Hospital Department of Pediatric Dentistry in Birmingham,
Alabama in 1978. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from
Auburn University in 1972.
Dr. Thomas has been practicing Pediatric Dentistry in Mobile
for over 30 years. He has held offices in numerous dental
organizations including President of the Mobile Area Dental
Society in 2000 and President of the Alabama Academy of
Pediatric Dentistry in 1986 and in 1999. He served as
President of the University of Alabama School of Dentistry
Alumni Association in 2004. In 2006, he received the Alabama
Dental Association's "Most Excellent Fellow" award and
served as President of the Alabama Dental Association in
2010. Dr. Thomas has been on the Board of Directors of the
Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry since 2002 and
is currently Vice-President of the Southeastern Society. He
is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists and the
International College of Dentists, and is a member of the
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Thomas is a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where
he has served on the Vestry and as Senior Warden. He served
on the St. Paul's Episcopal School Board of Trustees and was
Chairman of the Board from 2004-2006. Dr. Thomas and his
wife Linda reside in Mobile and have three sons Gaines Jr.,
Wilson and Carter.
Stephen E.
Greenleaf, III, D.M.D.
Dr.
Greenleaf, a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry, received his
D.M.D. degree from the University of Alabama School of
Dentistry. He completed his residency and received his
Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the Chandler Medical
Center in Lexington, Kentucky and the Kosair Children's
Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky in 2002. He graduated
with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Millsaps College in
Jackson, Mississippi in 1996.
Dr. Greenleaf holds memberships
in numerous professional associations. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Alabama State Dental
Association, the Mobile Area District Dental Society, the Alabama Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Southeastern Society
of Pediatric Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is currently
President-Elect of the Alabama Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and President of the Mobile Area District Dental Society.
He has served on the Board of Directors of the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry since 2008. He is the past
chair of the Council for the New Dentist and is currently both a Trustee and Delegate for the Alabama Dental Association.
He lectures to the dental students at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry and pediatric medical
residents at the University of South Alabama Children’s and Women’s Hospital. He is also a member of the Alabama
Children’s Rehabilitation Services Cleft Palate/Cleft Lip Team for the Mobile area. Dr. Greenleaf has been practicing
Pediatric Dentistry in Mobile for 10 years.
Dr. Greenleaf is a member of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church where he has served on the Staff-Parish Relations
Committee. Dr. Greenleaf and his wife Anna reside in Mobile with their three children Mary Clayton, Stephen IV and
Virginia. He enjoys running, cycling and golf.
Lauren Moore, D.M.D.
Dr. Moore, a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry,
received her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the
University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry and
Children's Hospital Department of Pediatric Dentistry.
She
graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the
University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. She
received a Bachelor of Science degree from Springhill
College. Dr. Moore is a member of several professional
organizations. She is an active member of the American
Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association, the
Mobile Area Dental Society, the Southeastern Society of
Pediatric Dentistry, the American Academy of Pediatric
Dentistry, and the Alabama Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Moore and
her family attend Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Dr. Moore
and her husband Michael reside in Mobile with their two
daughters, Claire-Burton and Kate
